Every frame of this drawing scans
Draw on a QR code. It still scans.
qrtuner turns the whole QR code into something you can draw on. Paste a link, draw your mark across the squares with a finger or a mouse, and after every stroke the code re-tunes itself so the picture shows and the link still scans.

What it does
Your drawing becomes part of the code.
Most logo-in-a-QR tools drop a picture in the middle and lean on error correction. qrtuner works the other way round: your drawing becomes part of the code. Every square you draw is kept as ink or as paper wherever the code allows it, and the rest of the code is solved around it. It re-tunes after every stroke, so you see straight away what it kept, and a real code carries your exact link, unchanged.
Why
People scan what they recognise. A code with your mark across it reads as yours on a menu, a window, a van or a business card, and a sticker stuck over the top is obvious.
The code is the design, not a box around it.
How
Three steps. Account free.
- Paste your link.Paste the link the code should open.
- Draw.Thick strokes, two or three squares wide, read best. The three big eyes in the corners stay where they are.
- Check, then copy.Check it scans with your phone, then copy the image. A real code can also be downloaded as an SVG for signwriters and vinyl.
